One of the obvious differences between AMP pages and Non-AMP pages is the availability of bogus contents (Large Contents) like; pictures and certain advertisements. Unlike normal web pages, AMP pages consume less data. The other differences are described below;

  • JavaScript is not allowed on Accelerated Mobile Pages, although it’s used for the configuration
  • Accelerated Mobile Pages makes use of a streamlined version of CSS
  • AMP provides users with a set of JavaScript library

  • Open your WordPress dashboard by adding “/wp-admin” at the end of the URL.

Customizing the AMP on a WordPress site is as simple as adding it. The following steps should be followed;

  • Open your website dashboard.

  • Click on “Design” and customize the AMP page to how you want it.

If you do not see the changes made to the site, you should see a link “Navigate to an AMP-compatible page” at the right top side of the page. Simply tap on that link and you would see the changes being made to your AMP site.
